Using the principles of organic and biodynamic gardening
The Nuts’N’Garden farm was founded in February 2020 in the south of the Kyiv region and is engaged in the cultivation of perennial crops:
- large-fruited hazelnut dessert varieties on an area of 22 hectares;
- green asparagus on an area of 1 hectare.
In 2023, the three-year transition period ended and the farm was certified Organic Standard in accordance with the requirements of the EU and Ukraine.
The purpose of creating a business is to implement an effective, profitable and sustainable business on Ukrainian soil based on the principle of:
- do no harm,
- save,
- restore.
Now this is the first industrial hazelnut orchard grafted on bearberry in Ukraine, an advanced farm in terms of automation and processes.
An innovative approach to gardening includes:
- a network of special sensors that allows you to monitor soil temperatures and moisture levels at different depths in real time;
- agrometeorological station;
- precise agronomy;
- most processes are automated and available for online management 24/7.
